COSCO and Maersk have issued a notice of normal call to Nigeria, but ....

Previously, Sofreight.com had reported that the Nigerian Port Authority issued a sanctions order to suspend 10 days of port services for shipping companies including Maersk and COSCO.

Including the several shipping companies to be sanctioned, the entire foreign trade forwarding industry is also very concerned about this situation!

According to the latest news from Sofreight.com, two major shipping companies, Maersk and COSCO, have issued announcements stating that they have not been affected by the sanctions order (COSCO), or have allowed to call at the Nigerian port (Maersk)!

In a statement issued by COSCO, it had communicated with the Nigerian authorities to confirm that the ships of COSCO were operating normally. There had not been affected.

That issue is not simple.......
